Both FXQU_A1 Sapphire and FXQU_A1 Ruby are live accounts now covering G6 majors...
No new releases... Latest version 1.57
Firing up a live ic markets ECN pro account to have a clean restart of trading history. FXQU_A1 Sapphire will continue but it contains some early trading history during debugging prior to August 1st. A stable version of FXQU_A1 was operating across all accounts following August 1st 2017.
The new account will be called FXQU_A1 Ruby
FXQU_A1_MME has completed over 89,000 trades now... Minor release applied over the past week but it was for cosmetic changes that will help in the deployment of new releases across each account.
Apart from that no other news...
FXQU_A1_MME has completed 86,500 trades since May.and has now doubled the equity in the account.
I am testing an updated risk management algorithm and will release shortly hopefully. The new dedicated server handles the load very well... Vps is also running but only on standby.
Wow dedicated servers rock. All 6 robots were migrated from the vps to the dedicated server over the weekend and the performance gain is significant. Whilst the vps CPU was flat lining at 95 to 100% the dedicated server barely breaks 10%...
The vps will now act as a standby server.
No new releases
The 6 robots running on my 2gb 2 CPU vps is flat lining the CPU at 100% and ram at 95%. I am moving the live account to a new dedicated server tonight with 32 gb ram and 4ghz CPU (6700k).... Will see how this goes.
Further testing on FXQU_A2 is occurring. No new releases.
I have increased the frequency of FXQU_A2... Trying to thrash out the changes it will have on performance.
The vps is really struggling to handle six instances of mt4 and each robot. I might transition the live account to a blaze vps.
FXQU_A1_MME has completed over 80,000 trades.
All 6 robots are hammering along today... Movement in the Euro pairs and aud have caused a large number of transactions to open. The 2 CPU 2 gb vps is struggling.
Dynamic throttling is getting a work out as the robots attempt to minimise exposure to the sudden directional movement.
No new releases...
I am looking to fire up a second version of FXQU_A... It will be FXQU_A2 and will be across G7 majors only. Hopefully will be an AxiTrader demo account. I will be using this to compare to the FXQU_A1_Majors account that is already running.
I added a 5th currency pair to the live account last night.... EURGBP.
No other changes
I added GBPJPY.pro and EURJPY.pro to the FXQU_A1_Majors robot to bring it in line with the complete G7 major currency pairs.
Looking to add another pair to the live account.. Still analysing the best pair to include.
No new releases
Big night tonight with the BoE expected to raise interest rates... I will be leaving all 5 robots as is to see how they handle the potential volatility.
Currently working /testing a modification to the FXQU_A1 that produces the entry signals... This maybe end up being a variant and hence named FXQU_A2....
The markets are moving again... With the BoE getting ready to raise rates and the Aussie dollar looking to move lower the robots are increasing their exposure.
The metals robot is flat at the moment due to the heavy trending of indices and commodity prices.
Quick update... Progressing with the commercialisation of Fxqu... This means both AFSL and NFA compliance...
In the meantime no new releases... FXQU_A1_MME has completed over 72,000 trades...
The big ECB press conference is due in a few hours and some heavy volatility is expected... I will let the robots as is and see how they handle it. I expect there could be some 200+ pip movements in some pairs.. Probably Euro exotics.. The stop losses may be hit is some of the smaller time frames...
No new releases since last update
No real news.. All five robots chugging along. Some all time highs were hit late week.. MME has now passed over 70,000 trades in 5 months.
There are some further risk management changes in the pipeline as well as some potential market volatility detection algorithms..but they are at the planning stage so far...
The four fx robots are quiet at present... At one point yesterday the live account had no open trades. The metals robot is getting heavier as it also includes indices.. The indices are at present trending strongly up across the board. FXQU_A1 does not catch the falling or ascending knife but there are slight signs of the rally pausing.. The robot will act on these and so I expect much heavier positions in the next few days. The rally is crazy.. But let's see what FXQU_A1 does.
FXQU_A1_MME has passed 66,000 trades and has almost hit its all time high in return.
FXQU_A1_Majors_T1 is at a new high and has closed all but 4 trades.
No new releases but some modifications are being developed.
Minor release was deployed on Friday night that addressed a rounding bug for non-forex instruments...
Quiet Monday otherwise...
I have started a 5th instance of FXQU_A1 running with commodities and indices only. It's with AxiTrader and is set to low / medium frequency.
So the fx markets have quietened right down... The majors robots are in positive equity over balance... The minors and MME robots are over 98% in the same ratio.
I have noticed the rate of return has flattened out the past 20 days and coupled with the internal messages of the robots it seems the dynamic scaling is being invoked quite heavily... It might be turned up too high... Will analyse and assess.
Cheers Fxqu
Been away.. During that time GBP pairs have been running hard with the potential chat of brexit and ousting of May... There was deep market exposure for the live account however it has since calmed down and retreated. It is good to see the dynamic throttling being tested...
FXQU_A1_MME has completed over 63,000 trades.. It's up 45% since inception. All 4 robots are well positive since inception...
I am planning a new release shortly that will look at the entry for scaling. More later
Cheers

Reasonable position count across all 4 robots. USDJPY pulled back from its 2 month high and this was enough for trades to close out.. It is still marching up and repositioning is happening.
FXQU_A1_MME has nearly completed 60,000 trades in 4 months...
No new releases.
Big moves by the euro and pound have led to a significant reduction in open trades the last few days and now the opposite side is opening up across related pairs.
MME has retreated in balance slightly whilst the other 3 robots have held their ground.
No new releases since the last update.
Following the FOMC meeting yesterday there was significant movement across USD pairs... FXQU_A1_MME currently in full flight, which is expected as it is tuned to be high frequency... The other robots moving as well however no where near like MME.
Thinking about starting a journal of forexfactory.. I need to get the junior status promoted up before i can. The aim is to educate potential traders on the dynamic time frames.
Anyways more high impact news coming today and tonight. No further updates to the robots.
I released a minor version over night that dynamically changes the TP and SL according to the current market volatility.
The robots are reasonably deep in trades at present and the movement of the GBP pairs seem poised to kick off again.
Version 1.43 is in play.
FXQU_A1_MME has completed over 55,000 trades in 3 and a half months. Profit sits around $30k. FXQU_A1_MME is configured to be high frequency... It can be set to be more than double this.. But the number of calculations will likely be too much for the current VPS..
No change to the dynamic throttling. Testing the change on my custom tick fx platform indicated it was not beneficial.
In the meantime GBP holding levels... Quiet Monday morning. Robots are being stretched... The dynamic throttling is controlling the scaling and the draw down is being limited.
Had a idea to smooth out the dynamic throttling for the fx robots. I will code this up and deploy over the weekend.
Overall the markets have quietened following the large push by the pound caused by the impending easing of QE in the UK.
Having robots running full tilt 24x5 is a strange mental happening. Whilst it's great to know they punching through millions of calcs every 3 seconds it does still require patience...i can't make things happen faster.. And I don't intervene otherwise it's not 100% automated.
All good
Cheers Fxqu
The pound retreated over night and with this a lot of open positions were closed out. FXQU_A1_MME kicked over the $84k mark whilst the two robots focussing on major pairs fell slightly as the scaling in over the large run closed out.
FXQU_A1_minors is still ticking along nicely... It is out performing the majors only robots which I find interesting.
Cheers Fxqu
The pound is on the move... Cable keeps trudging up and the positions are opening up along the way. All 4 robots are accumulating higher numbers of trades... Let's see how this pans out.
Since implementing the major code change to the robots in early August the turnaround in performance has been immense. The dynamic throttling was introduced a little later and this evident in the slow down of positions being taken ie its harder for the scaling in to occur.
And so the performance of FXQU_A1_MME has just hit its all time high. Prior to the major upgrade the balance was at $40k and in the space of a month it has recovered to over $83k. Thousands of retail trades have been completed in that time.
All of the other 3 robots have also performed/recovered well. It is still early days and more upgrades will come.
One of the accounts is live... But this is not visible on myfxbook.com... Yet

The markets are awake as the usd pairs are getting hammered (usd side). The new dynamic throttling is in full flight now (was released across the robots over a week ago), this is evident as the scaling in process has slowed.
No real change in balances... Will be an interesting night
Cheers Fxqu
Bit more action evident across the 4 robots. FXQU_A1_MME has closed over 51,700 trades and is just shy of its all time high equity.
I added AUDUSD as a 4th ccy pair to FXQU_A1_Majors_test....
No new releases.
Overall the fx market is quiet.
The number of open positions and signals is very low at the moment and it likely signifies a holding pattern by the markets.
No new releases for the time being.
I have started posting the results in forexfactory however no journal entries until I get time...
Cheers Fxqu
As of now FXQU_A1_MME has closed over 50,600 trades. The other 3 robots are much more conservative however they still number in the thousands.
The use of multiple dynamic time frames is a significant change to the conventional approach to trading. When I get time I will attempt to start explaining the concept being used by the robots.
Cheers Fxqu
Trying out the forexfactory trade Explorer with the robots. FXQU_A1_MME is taking a long time to aggregate... Must be the 49,500 completed trades.
The robots deleveraged significantly over night.. Which is good. Results on myfxbook.com...
More later
Cheers Fxqu
All 4 robots have unwound a lot of positions.. FXQU_A1_minors has hit its all time high balance whilst FXQU_A1_MME is closing in on 50,000 closed transactions.
Non farm payroll (NFP) is this Friday and it will be interesting to see how it all goes...
Cheers

It has been interesting to see the performance of the robots since v1. 35 was deployed on August 10th. Although I have introduced dynamic throttling the robots are continuing to head higher - I am watching the draw down during this new release.
FXQU_A1_MME is fast approaching 50,000 trades since it began in May. The results include all costs so let's see where this ends up in a few months time.
I am posting this from the mobile version of blogger so I can't include the results.. But click on earlier posts.. these have the links to the myfxbook results

OK so FXQU_A1_MME has saturated it's signals with over $40k worth of positions currently open. I have rolled out an update across all 4 robots that will slow down the scale in process.
The latest build is running and appears to be stable. 4 robots are now running and I will keep this going for now.
FXQU_A1_MME is churning through the trades and completed over 43,000 trades.
I will post the charts over the weekend if possible
Cheers

Morning.. Some minor changes were made to the robots and deployed last night.
FXQU_A1_MME has completed 40,000 trades in 3 months.. I will leave the number of pairs at 26 and scanned time frames at 70 per pair for now
Cheers

Trying out the mobile version of blogger.. Interesting.
So I have discovered the past month of running the EA was with too much throttling and with a sev 2 defect. It is quite difficult to debug MT4 and so the value of running demos is priceless. Last night I deployed v1. 35 across all the robots. Results to follow
Cheers
